Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Treasury Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job Purpose:
    The Treasury Banking Manger is responsible for driving revenue growth by selling treasury management solutions to business banking clients. Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, understand their financial needs, and recommend customized treasury management products and services to optimize cash flow and improve operational efficiency.


    Key Responsibilities:


    1. Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business banking clients, including CFOs, treasurers, and financial decision-makers.
    • Understand clients' business objectives, financial challenges, and treasury management needs.
    • Function as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals.

    2. Sales Strategy and Execution:

    • Identify sales opportunities within existing client base and prospective clients.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
    • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase treasury management solutions and their benefits.
    • Prepare and negotiate proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.

    3. Product Knowledge and Expertise:

    • Stay informed about BTC's treasury management products and services, as well as industry trends and best practices.
    • Assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate treasury management solutions, including cash management, liquidity management, and payment processing products.
    • Collaborate with internal product teams to customize solutions based on client requirements.

    4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive offerings, and market opportunities.
    • Analyze competitor strengths and weaknesses to differentiate BTC's treasury management solutions.
    • Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies and positioning.

    5. Sales Reporting and Pipeline Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management review.
    • Monitor sales pipeline metrics and progress towards revenue targets.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in treasury management sales
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field or significant relevant experience required.
    • Management and supervisory experience required.
    • Strong understanding of treasury management products, services, and industry trends.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision makers.

    Working Conditions:

    • This job operates in a normal office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
    • There will be times travel is required for sales calls, meetings and training, some overnight stays.

    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
