Great Lakes Fund Solutions (www.glfsi.com) is a growing, independently owned financial services company located in Lake Villa, Illinois.

Our clients create alternative investment funds that outsource their investor services back office to the Company. Great Lakes Fund Solutions uses its staff and proprietary software to provide investor services to 45 clients, 230 investment programs, scores of financial advisors, and the owners of over 70,000 individual investments, representing assets capital raised of approximately $6 billion. The Company is a transfer agent, registered with and regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Our staff uses our internally developed, web-based software to fulfill sales literature orders, process investor subscriptions, calculate commission payments to advisors, and provide web access to investors and their financial advisors. The treasury services that we provide relate to closing on the initial incoming investment and processing outgoing periodic investor distributions. We regularly reconcile the bank accounts used in performing the treasury services.

Job Summary:

The Director of Treasury Operations will lead a team of five staff members that provide client-facing treasury. Treasury Operations opens, maintains, operates and controls over fifty client bank accounts, initiating thousands of ACH, wire and check payments monthly. A mind for process improvement and control is central to success in this position.

· Learn the fund administration business by working closely with our Operations Department.

· Refine and monitor internal controls to mitigate operational, compliance risks and reputational risk.

· Be a self-starter, managing your career development and contributing wherever possible to quality-enhancement and staff development.

· Work with Client Services of keep clients informed.

Credentials and Experience:

· We are looking for a fastidious, highly organized, confident individual.

· Experience: 5 years in financial services.

· Excellent leadership and team management skills.

· Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Education: Undergraduate business degree at minimum. MBA a plus. Preferred majors: accounting, finance, or management.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Investment industry and banking knowledge or job experience is a plus.
