Treasury Manager manages all aspects of daily treasury operations to meet the financial obligations of the organization. Monitors cash reporting and forecasting, credit administration, lender compliance requirements, administration of business insurance programs, and debt facility modeling. Being a Treasury Manager allocates cash balances, maintains investment records, and prepares expense and earnings forecasts. Develops and implements department policies, procedures, and internal controls. Additionally, Treasury Manager ensures policies and procedures meet the organization's objectives, needs, and regulatory body requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Treasury Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Treasury Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Manage branch office staff in providing quality service to members, through sales and service of products with expectation of meeting or exceeding member’s requirements. Experience in ensuring compliance with all governing regulations, especially Bank Secrecy Act requirements; including Currency Transaction Reports and monitoring and reporting as appropriate any suspicious activity. Also requires knowledge of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) requirements.

    Major Duties and Responsibilities

    ·• Responsible for assisting Regional Branch Manager in ordering cash for branch and ATM operations, including working with Federal Reserve Bank, armed car companies, facility managers and TDFCU staff to ensure delivery.

    • Responsible for direct report’s annual performance evaluations, including training, coaching and discipling direct reports. Also responsible for assisting direct reports with annual performance evaluations of their direct reports, including training, coaching and discipling employees.
    • Effectively process transactions, assist members and potential members with their financial needs; explain products and services; acquire new account holders, loan applications and resolve member concerns at the first point of contact. Identify member’s financial needs and cross-sell products and services to meet those needs.
    • Manage the security and safety of the branch; by adhere to policies and procedures, and alert staff to any changes. Ensure opening and closing procedures (i.e. alarms, vault, balance ATM’s, etc.) and end of day balancing of branch are being completed by branch staff and assisting where necessary.
    • Perform all job responsibilities with a positive approach at all times. Resolve member problems that require a management level decision. Advise Branch staff with any department or branch office issues. Must have working knowledge of all branch daily responsibilities. Provide upward feedback to management regarding branch performance, employee and member concerns.
    • Responsible for handling remote deposit capture on daily basis, including submitting checks to Federal Reserve Bank and preparing daily file for Lending and Support Services.
    • Responsible for handling online membership application processing, including tracking follow-up and ensure applicants qualifies for membership. Thorough knowledge of new account opening procedures required.
    • Ability to accept and perform new job responsibilities as needed; to learn and utilize new technologies and to accept change when required in performance of job responsibilities.
    • Assist Regional Branch Manager and the Assistant Vice President Branch Services in implementing business development strategies for assigned branches.
    • Represents the branch as appropriate in its relationships with members, sponsor organizations, suppliers, other financial institutions and similar groups.

    Experience and Education

    Bachelor’s degree is desired, with a minimum of 3 years financial institution experience. Minimum requirements, a two-year degree and at least 5 years of branch service or financial industry related experience.
