Truck Driver - Heavy operates a large or heavy truck that transports cargo to and from specified locations on time and according to schedule. Operates vehicle safely and responsibly, adhering to all DOT and company safety regulations. Being a Truck Driver - Heavy conducts routine inspections prior to departure to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition. Manages appropriate cargo documentation and provides necessary paperwork upon the delivery of goods. Additionally, Truck Driver - Heavy coordinates the loading and unloading of the truck, verifying cargo and ensuring items are properly stored and secured. Maintains contact with dispatcher to provide status updates, clarify special instructions, and notify about delays or issues during transport. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A. May require a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Typically reports to a supervisor. The Truck Driver - Heavy works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. $1650 - 2450 WEEKLY!!
Touch freight operation
Drivers are required to unload pallets with store equipment at each location.
Drivers will load the return product, re-stack, and cleanup.
This account services 122 stores with multi-stop loads. Drivers average 2175 miles per week.
Delivery Locations:
This position will pull from a grocery DC in Denver, CO and deliver to stores in
New Mexico, Colorado, Montana and the Dakota’s.
Schedule:
Home Time: Home Weekly for 34 Hour Reset.
Current shifts Sunday through Friday, Monday through Saturday, and Tuesday through Sunday.
Loads generally pick up between 10am and 2pm. For delivery by midnight.
Mixed loads pick up between 5pm and 8pm and need to be delivered by 7am.
