Truck Driver Supervisor jobs in Laramie, WY
Truck Driver Supervisor supervises the dispatching of trucks to convey freight to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner. Tracks deliveries via computer systems and monitors communication lines to assist with complex or immediate questions. Being a Truck Driver Supervisor reviews driver assignments, delivery time, and other transportation data to evaluate driver performance. Ensures dispatchers and drivers are educated and compliant with all DOT, state, local, and company regulations. Additionally, Truck Driver Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor. Drivers are required to unload pallets with store equipment at each location.
Drivers will load the return product, re-stack, and cleanup.
This account services 122 stores with multi-stop loads. Drivers average 2175 miles per week.
Delivery Locations:
This position will pull from a grocery DC in Denver, CO and deliver to stores in
New Mexico, Colorado, Montana and the Dakota’s.
Schedule:
Home Time: Home Weekly for 34 Hour Reset.
Current shifts Sunday through Friday, Monday through Saturday, and Tuesday through Sunday.
Loads generally pick up between 10am and 2pm. For delivery by midnight.
Mixed loads pick up between 5pm and 8pm and need to be delivered by 7am.
