    Seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Personal Lines Home and Auto Account Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing new business, remarketing home and auto insurance policies, ensuring excellent customer service, and efficiently handling and resolving home and auto insurance claims.
    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving insurance needs and preferences, providing personalized solutions to remarket their home and auto insurance policies.
    • Conduct policy reviews, identify coverage gaps, and present competitive options from various insurance carriers to meet customers' requirements.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service through various communication channels, including phone, email, and online platforms.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for customers filing home and auto insurance claims. Guide clients through the claims process, collect necessary information, and promptly report claims to the appropriate insurance carriers.
    • Monitor the progress of claims, provide updates to customers, and ensure timely resolution to their satisfaction.
    • Address customer inquiries, policy changes, billing questions, and general insurance-related concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Process policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations accurately and efficiently.
    • Update customer information and policy details in the insurance management system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company guidelines.
    • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities during customer interactions to maximize revenue potential and enhance overall customer value. Recommend additional insurance products and coverage options that align with clients' needs and preferences.
    • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all customer interactions, policy changes, claims communications, and related documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout all processes.
    • Troubleshoot customer issues, investigate complaints, and resolve problems effectively and in a timely manner. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments or management as required.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, insurance regulations, and product offerings.
    • Continuously develop knowledge and expertise in home and auto insurance to provide informed advice to customers.
    Qualifications
    Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and two years' experience in insurance preferred or a minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management, insurance brokerage or underwriting.
    • Both an Illinois Insurance Producers license and a valid Illinois Driver's license are required
    • Prior work with Excel, Word and related software is required.
    Skills:
    • Thorough knowledge of insurance products and coverages.
    • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and thoroughness, with special emphasis on meeting deadlines.
    • Travel to/from client meetings as needed may be required, including during non-traditional business hours.
    • High level of organizational and communication skills.
    • Ability to work respectively with diverse populations both internally and externally.
    • Ability to empathize with customers and to respond appropriately.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with an emphasis in Excel.
    • Thorough knowledge of Accord forms.
