Trust Department Assistant
We are searching for an experienced Trust Department Assistant.

Provide administrative support for Trust Services. Responsibilities include; front desk reception, maintaining trust files, assisting in estate administration, working with transfer of assets and funding of trust accounts, typing routine letters and memos, scheduling appointments, marketing of trust services, coordinating trust seminars and member appreciation events and completing special projects as assigned.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties

Responsible for incoming telephone calls, welcoming visitors and clients, receiving incoming correspondence and routing same to the appropriate staff.

Responsible for providing administrative support for the Trust Officer. Scheduling appointments, typing correspondence and completing other paperwork as assigned.

Responsible for assisting with the opening and closing of trust and estate accounts.

Assist the Trust Officer with all tasks involved in the administration of all trust services accounts.

Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written skill
Ability to deal with high network clients
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Good organization skills and attention to detail
Extensive computer aptitude, Microsoft word, excel and outlook

Accountable for the timeliness and accuracy of all functions performed and the rendering of quality, competent and professional assistance to potential clients, members, professionals, team members and other contacts, both in person and on the telephone.

Accountable for Performance Management Goals as agreed upon with Supervisor.

Accountable for understanding and applying government laws and regulations and TCU policies and procedures relating to the Anti-Money Laundering Regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US PATRIOT ACT and OFAC.

High School diploma (GED) or equivalent skills or abilities
Have or desire to earn college degree, preferred
Paralegal training preferred, but not mandatory

Understanding of trust services, preferred, but not mandatory.
