Guest Services Assistant

  • Job Purpose: Assists in operating the Guest Services Center while providing excellent customer service. Provides administrative support services to facilitate the timely and accurate implementation of the objectives of the Guest Services Center.

    Duties: 
    1.      Coordinates the operations of the Guest Services Center
    2.      Maintains the collateral material and information that is distributed from the GSC
    3.      Maintains a database of county-wide events and programs for informational use
    4.      Liaisons with the merchants to keep up-to-date on specials, events and programs that could be promoted through           the GSC
    5.      Solicits the merchants for participation in the My Favorite Rewards Card program on an on-going basis
    6.      Oversees the recruiting of new Reward Club Card members – On and Off-site
    7.      Maintains the customer database for the My Favorite Rewards Card program
    8.      Oversees and accounting for the mall employee Bus Pass Program
    9.      Sells gift cards and logs daily transactions
    10.   Prepare monthly corporate gift card report
    11.   Answers telephone for the Guest Services Center
    12.   Meets, greets and provide information to customers and merchants

    Skills/Qualifications:      
    • At least 5 years comprehensive experience in Event Planning / Promotions / Sales 
    • Team Player, customer service oriented       
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, simultaneously Excellent written, verbal and organization skills Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy 
    • Proficient in MS Word and Excel Capable of learning computer programs as needed 
    • Must have California driver’s license 
    • Maintains regular attendance and punctuality Follows Policies and Procedures Manual
