    What You'll Do
    The IT Operations Manager position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and consistent reliability of the IT infrastructure. This role involves leading the Infrastructure Team while providing strategic oversight for all IT Operations. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, networks, websites, and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will be pivotal in implementing strategies to achieve high uptime, proactively identify and resolve potential issues, and ensure the infrastructure remains reliable, scalable, and secure to accommodate evolving business needs. From a reliability standpoint, the role requires robust change management practices to minimize potential disruptions. Leading the Infrastructure team in providing exceptional technical support to internal users is also crucial, with close collaboration with the IT Support Manager to ensure seamless integration between support functions.
    Salary range: $100,000-$110,000
    Duties/Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage the Infrastructure Team, setting clear objectives, promoting collaboration, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals, providing oversight for all IT infrastructure, and identifying opportunities for enhancing business growth and agility.
    • Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure through proactive management, implementation of best practices, and timely resolution of potential issues or vulnerabilities.
    • Execute and apply robust change management practices, coordinating with stakeholders to assess impact, ensuring thorough testing and approval processes, and effectively communicating changes to minimize service disruptions and manage expectations.
    • Serve as a team leader, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to the IT Infrastructure Team, fostering a cooperative and inclusive work environment with IT Operations and Support personnel.
    • Cultivate a strong working relationship with the Manager of the Data and Integrations Team, facilitating open communication, collaboration, and alignment of goals and objectives to support organizational initiatives effectively.
    • Collaborate with the IT Support Manager to integrate infrastructure and support functions seamlessly, provide technical leadership and support to internal users, troubleshoot complex issues, establish SLAs for procedural support, and monitor performance to meet or exceed agreed-upon targets.
    • Work with the Cybersecurity Manager to address architectural needs for implementing and maintaining security measures. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations while safeguarding IT infrastructure from internal and external threats.
    • Evaluate and manage relationships with vendors to ensure quality and value. Negotiate contracts and SLAs aligned with business needs and budget constraints.
    • Maintain comprehensive IT documentation and generate regular performance reports. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, areas for improvement, and innovation opportunities.
    • Continuously evaluate and enhance IT operations processes, workflows, and technologies, staying updated on emerging trends and best practices. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the IT operational teams.
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures, conducting regular testing and drills for readiness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business continuity strategies, mitigating risks during disruptions.

    Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree (preferred) in Cybersecurity, Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect certification, indicating proficiency in cloud computing and infrastructure management on Azure preferred.
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification considered a plus.
    • Experience employing and managing IT Service Management frameworks is favorable.
    • ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification, demonstrating proficiency in IT service management best practices, considered a plus.
    • 7 years IT operations management experience with a focus on reliability and infrastructure management, including monitoring and alerting operations.
    • 5 years of cloud platform experience with extensive knowledge of both Azure and AWS.
    • 5 years' experience leading and managing teams, providing guidance to colleagues and reports, and delivering centered mentorship to staff while driving operational excellence.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, aligning IT operations with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Experience implementing and enforcing change management practices to minimize disruptions to IT services.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
