Trust Operations Officer directs the work of Trust Operations team in large and complex trust operations. Ensures that transactions are balanced and documented according to policies and procedures. Being a Trust Operations Officer oversees the input and maintenance of data in accounting systems and report generation. Coordinates the processing of dividends and disbursements. Additionally, Trust Operations Officer may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Trust Operations Officer manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Trust Operations Officer typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     LOCATION: Lisle, IL REPORTS TO: Operations Manager, VP
    DEPARTMENT: Operations EXEMPT: Yes

    GENERAL PURPOSE
    As a premier provider of trust services, we are seeking a Trust Operations Specialist to become an integral member of our Qualified Retirement Plans team in our Lisle, Illinois office.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Perform client requests by providing recordkeeping and execution of daily Trust Operations transactions.
    • Process all account activity (i.e., transactions, deposits, distributions, wires, etc.) by their established deadlines.
    • Register assets and retitle securities.
    • Open and/or close accounts in their entirety.
    • Assist in proper coding, research and coordinating accurate tax processes.
    • Participate in Tasks and Projects.
    • Oversee client and internal documents scanning and filing.
    • Perform quality control checks with daily tasks to ensure accuracy.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
    • High School Degree or Equivalent.
    • Experience in trust or employee benefit plan operations a plus.

    Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits include medical, dental and life insurance as well as participation in the Company’s Retirement Plan.
