Seeking to add a qualified professional Nurse Aide for single senior care to an existing team. Must be Virginia Licensed. This is seven day a week/24 hour a day coverage for an elderly widow, and is scheduled typically for 12 hour shifts, including overnight shifts. Rotating weekends off, as well as alternate days/nights during the week. In other words, a manageable schedule. We are not an agency. We are a private residence. We seek to hire immediately.
We require Nurses Aides to assist with transfers, mobility, bathing, etc., and overall safety of the client. Other duties are responsibility of other house staff, (Chef, Housekeeper, Grounds Staff, etc). Your focus is solely on your client. Light housekeeping assistance is appreciated when other staff are not on duty, however. Very friendly dog on premises, so, you must like animals. Your patience is a must with the client. Initial shifts will include working alongside existing nurse staff to gain a better understand of the routine and needs of the client.
