Job Title: Trust Officer and Funding Coordinator

As a Trust Officer and Funding Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing and executing trust accounts and coordinating the funding of trusts and estates. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and financial institutions in trust funding and administration matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer trust accounts, ensuring compliance with the trust documents and applicable laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and financial advisors to fund trusts, including transferring assets, retitling accounts, and managing paperwork.
• Provide guidance to clients on the funding process, answering questions, and offering solutions to complex funding issues.
• Monitor funding progress and maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications.
• Collaborate with estate planning attorneys to ensure that all aspects of the estate plan are implemented correctly.
• Educate clients and beneficiaries on the terms of the trust and their roles and responsibilities.
• Stay updated on changes in estate planning and trust law to provide informed advice and ensure compliance.
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or a related field, including experience of working with financial products and institutions.
• CTFA certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of trust structures, estate planning principles, and tax implications.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with trust accounting software.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
