About Hilltown Land Trust
Hilltown Land Trust (HLT) is a small, regional land conservation organization serving thirteen rural towns. Since our founding in 1986, HLT has conserved over 5,000 acres of land and retains some stewardship responsibility for nearly 50 properties. In 2010, HLT and The Trustees launched a partnership to combine the efforts and resources of these two non-profit land conservation organizations in the Hilltowns. The formal affiliation combines the deep experience and administrative support of The Trustees with the flexibility and community relationships of Hilltown Land Trust.
