Youth Inpatient Unit Operations Supervisor

Full-Time

Hiring Range: $26.89 - $33.61 Per Hour

Join our team at the Youth Evaluation & Treatment Facility as a Youth Inpatient Unit (YIU) Operations Supervisor. In this role, you'll provide crucial administrative management support, ensuring the quality, safety, and efficiency of milieu operations within the Youth Inpatient Unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the weekly schedule, ensuring accuracy and compliance with staffing needs.
• Monitor and track shift supervisor and Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) overtime, attendance, and call-outs.
• Approve time sheets for unit direct reports and ensure compliance with timekeeping requirements.
• Oversee documentation of client contacts and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in developing and implementing efficient inventory management and purchasing protocols.
• Provide regular administrative supervision for assigned staff and on-call BHTs as needed.
• Collaborate with the YIU Clinical Supervisor to conduct performance appraisals.
• Monitor training compliance and provide training, coaching, and supervision as needed.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
• Conduct follow-ups with new hires to ensure successful onboarding.
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and provide floor coverage and support as needed.
• Attend YIU Treatment Team Meetings and provide administrative leadership support for admissions workflows.
• Model appropriate techniques and behaviors, including effective interventions, trauma-informed care, and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, social services, or behavioral health and 2 years community behavioral health experience OR equivalent education and experience requirements (i.e. High School Diploma and 5 years’ experience).

AND

Two years’ experience in staff supervision.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration or ability to apply for one post-hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE: Specialist (4 years of experience). 4 years community behavioral health experience
