POSITION SUMMARY                                                  

Responsible for overseeing and directing the planned activities and personnel of the receiving and replenishment departments. 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Hands-on approach with a focus on day-to-day operations and the leadership of all shift associates including Team Leads.
• Coordinate efforts with the Labeling, E-commerce leaders, and the entire warehouse team to ensure all orders are pick-ready and ready to ship on time every time.
• Instill accountability and responsibility amongst the team leaders and associates.
• Develop, implement and manage operational work schedules and assignments to ensure effective and efficient operations. Align with Management on headcount constraints and any assistance needed to achieve goals.
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct safety talks in departmental meetings, effectively investigate accidents/incidents promptly, and assist in meeting or exceeding plant safety goals.
• Effectively build and foster high performing teams by ensuring teamwork within the department.
• Train, coach and track associate performance using established work instructions. Maintain training log. Responsible for completion of employee performance reviews.
• Lead by example with a result-driven focus.
• Maintain 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain). 
• Make recommendations to the OPs Managers on programs to improve warehouse operations.
• Oversee all areas of material flow.
• Track internal and external OS&D (overages, Shortages, and Damages) for immediate action.
• Other projects as assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS OR EDUCATION

• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Prior experience utilizing WMS and ERP systems (Manhattan and NetSuite preferred).
• Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Supply Chain or Logistics (preferred).
• Computer applications using MS office with a strong focus on MS Excel (especially Pivot tables and V Lookups).
• Working knowledge of warehouse / mechanical equipment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, HAZMAT, and FDA regulations.

• Experience and a working knowledge of tracking Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) Metrics preferred.

• Must be able to work in varying facility conditions.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed by the customer.
