• Performing all roles within the housekeeping department: room attendant, houseperson, laundry attendant, common areas, etc.
• Supervising housekeeping staff and assisting with training the team.
• Resolving guest concerns and ensuring self and the team provide exceptional service.
• Assists housekeeping manager with hiring, scheduling, administrative tasks, and developing standard operating procedures.
• Conducts shift meetings with the team.

• Assisting in other areas of housekeeping and within other departments as needed.

• Initiating conversations with guests and owners and making them feel welcome.
• Learning about the area to be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Resolving guest concerns.
• Working well with others to best serve guests.

• Taking initiative in finding tasks to work on during slower times and seeking ways to enhance the guest and owner experience.

It Also Involves:

• Arriving to work as scheduled and following the property’s attendance guidelines.
• Attending meetings and training as requested.
• Practicing all safety guidelines of the organization and reporting safety concerns to management.

• Adhering to organizational guidelines/policies/expectations as well as federal, state, and local laws, including the property’s confidentiality expectations.
