The Mortgage Loan Assistant shall provide support to the Residential Lending department by exercising independent judgement in the resolution of administrative tasks and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results having an impact on customers, staff, costs and/or quality of service within the loan department. They will know the formal and informal departmental goals, standards, policies and procedures which may include some familiarity of other departments within the bank. They must be sensitive to the interrelationship of people and functions with the bank.
