The Count Team Manager will oversee soft count personnel with the primary role of observing and ensuring that all gaming requirements are met for drop and count for multiple properties.
In this role you will:
• Supervise Soft Count team comprised of 5 team members.
• Coordinate schedules and maintain proper staffing.
• Collect and count money from slots machines and table games, based on the set drop schedule.
• Verify calculations and transfer money to the casino vault.
• Maintain count room equipment.
• Reconcile the soft count summary report with the information entered into the computer.
• Ensure the integrity of the soft count and compliance with gaming regulations.
• Perform related and/or other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience and knowledge that includes:
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous experience with cash handling.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada State Gaming Card.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass basic math test.
• On feet or standing 100% of time.
• Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize and organize.
• Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolving problems using good judgment.
• Ability to understand guest’s service needs.
• High level of concentration to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.

• Accuracy and attention to detail is necessary for completion of regulatory forms.
WORKING CONDITIONS: This position typically works early morning shifts, including weekend and holidays.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment. Must be able to stand, walk or sit for long periods of time, speak and hear, write, finger and feel, lift and carry up to fifty pounds (50 lbs.) and occasionally more. Employee frequently required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and endure variable temperature conditions (extreme hot or cold). Must be 21 years of age or older.
