Assistant Registrar

Wonders of Wildlife is hiring for an Assistant Registrar to join our team. Assistant Registrars keep all animal data up to date and organized. This employee will maintain animal records in TRACKS and help train animal care staff in how to use the system. Registrars also monitor animal load agreements and produce loan updates on an annual basis.

Assistant Registrars should have strong communication and computer skills. A college degree in biology or similar is preferred, but equivalent experience may be considered at the discretion of Wonders of Wildlife. We offer great benefits including medical insurance, PTO, 401k, and more.

A day in the life of an Assistant Registrar

Under the leadership of the Registrar, assistant registrars are responsible for the maintenance of records, permits, animal logs, and more. Registrars maintain the Wonders of Wildlife TRACKS database with information on current and past animals, acquisitions, and animal transfers. These employees also have responsibilities in research and purchasing for the animal care department.
