    About the position:

    Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the Systems Administrator will primarily be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of server and network hardware, software and applications.  We are looking for a collaborative, agile, team oriented individual with a growth mindset willing to take on all challenges and grow within a rapidly evolving environment. 

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues
    • Provide server support focusing on Windows-based servers, both physical and virtual
    • Familiarity with Cisco UCS Blade server infrastructure, Fibre channel SANs and HPE Nimble Storage
    • Provide administration and support for MS Exchange, Active Directory, SCCM, Teams, SharePoint, O365 and other tools
    • Responsible for installation/deployment/upgrade/administration of VMware environment
    • Administer backup/restore procedures
    • Participate in the development of architectural strategy, including technology standardization, rationalization and modernization
    • Research, evaluate, and implement methods for improving current systems and networking infrastructure
    • Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system design, potential issues, and related cost for each project request
    • Develop design standards and guidelines, and mentor IT team on best practices
    • Proactively apply fixes and manage infrastructure support issues, avoiding impact to daily operational processing and development
    • Accurately forecast demand for storage, computing and network capacity, as well as proactively assist in the procurement of hardware and management tools
    • Implement information security policies and procedures for the organization and regularly deploy system security patches to environment
    • Initiate, facilitate, and promote activities to create information security awareness within the company

      Qualifications:

      • Experience supporting cloud services such as Azure and AWS
      • Ability to lead and mentor colleagues and work in a team environment
      • Ability to multi-task multiple projects simultaneously as well as work in a customer-focused environment
      • Strong written and oral communication skills

      Preferences

      • Experience with networking and Palo Alto firewalls
      • Knowledge of Varonis software
