    Position Summary 

    LCPtracker is recruiting for a full-time IT Systems Administrator that will work with others to continue cloud migrations and develop quality support practices. This person will be directly responsible for providing efforts in the lifecycle of projects to include documenting, designing, integrating, transitioning, implementing, testing, and training for the IT Operations Team.
    The ideal candidate will have experience and a strong background in design, implementation, and migration of Identity Platforms preferably Azure AD, Azure SSO, Active Directory, Microsoft Office365, and SAML configurations.  The candidate should possesses adept critical thinking, advanced technical troubleshooting capabilities, and strong analytical skills to effectively tackle complex challenges and drive innovative solutions.
    The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products, solutions, and ideas in a business-like manner and be experienced in interfacing with system users. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environment that requires virtual team interaction and coordination of efforts including remote  workforce support and assisting the support desk with any escalated support tickets.

     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support configuration, administration, and deployment of Azure SSO (single-sign-on)
    • Creating and ensuring federated access across Active Directory and Azure AD (Entra ID)
    • Monitoring and enhancing the security of current and future Azure environments
    • Troubleshooting SAML 2.0 and resolving Azure SSO configurations related to internal and external hosted applications
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Strong understanding and background of working with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP and the requirement of strictly following standards, procedures, and processes

    • Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains operating system and related software.
    • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters
    • Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
    • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.

    Education and Experience

    • 5-7 years experience in IT Systems Administration
    • B.S Degree in Information Technology Preferred 
    • 1-2 years or more of experience in supporting application SSO and functions in the Azure platform
    • Certification(s) MCSA, MCP preferred
    • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Azure environment performance issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc.
    • Knowledge of macOS and MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, JumpCloud, and Apple Business Manager
    • KPI’s   Achieve Cloud certifications for Azure and SF

     

    Work Environment

    This position performs its duties from our Orange, CA. office. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

     

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.

    Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

     

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position reporting to our Orange, CA. office M-F. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

     

    Travel

    There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat is required. This event is a 2-3-day retreat.  Attendance at our annual User Conference as assigned.

     

    Salary Range

    Expected Compensation

    $90,000 to $120,000 annual salary benefits 

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
