Systems Administrator position for the Department of Radiology. Assists the IT Manager with computer hardware and software issues for a multiplatform network consisting of Linux Servers, Windows servers, and Macintosh desktops. Maintains tape library, data backups, and archiving medical images. Participates technically in all hardware and software planning. Performs hardware maintenance, system monitoring, maintenance of servers, and installation of new equipment including RAID storage.
Installs, configures, and maintains servers within a small unit or department. Performs basic server and infrastructure tasks and maintenance. Provides end user support for basic issues. Maintains operating system patching and performs software installations.
Must be proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems. Excellent problem solving, communication, and customer service skills required.
