Reliant Medical Group in Southborough has an opening for a part-time Ultrasound Technologist. No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call!

Hours: Fridays 7:30a-4p

Primary Responsibilities:

• This role incorporates all the technical skills associated with ultrasound, including related clerical and service duties
• Performs ultrasound studies, including limited vascular studies, as assigned. Performs routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintains exam suites in good and appropriate order. Obtains and reviews patient clinical history and related reports/documentation. Obtains pertinent medical history, instructs patient regarding exam procedures and preparation. Performs related clerical duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
• Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
• Competent to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
• Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
