Position Title: Insurance Underwriter Associate

Wage: $36,000-$50,000/year

Shift: 1st

Hours: 8am-4pm

QPS Employment Group has partnered with a growing Insurance Association in Allison, Iowa to hire an Insurance Underwriter Associate. This is a direct hire opportunity which means the hired candidate will receive the excellent benefits of being an employee of this company right away! In this position, the hired candidate will be instrumental in evaluating applications, processing endorsements, and ensuring the smooth operation of our daily office tasks. Ideally this candidate will work at the Allison office but for the right candidate you can work out of the Readlyn office.

Insurance Underwriter Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Evaluate applications, endorsements, and anniversaries according to guidelines
• Process payments and transactions accurately and promptly
• Communicate effectively with agents, policyholders, and management
• Maintain confidentiality and data security
• Utilize Microsoft programs and management systems efficiently
• Review property data and apply underwriting guideline.

Insurance Underwriter Associate Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience in the insurance industry or related field is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to produce work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other relevant software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security at all times
