    Within authorized authority, HFCU policy, state and federal law, this position provides expertise in underwriting, structuring, documenting, approving or denying member loan requests for all non-real estate loans including credit cards, personal loans, boat, RV, auto and indirect loans.
    Key Accountabilities
    • Underwrite loan applications by reviewing member information, analyzing credit bureaus, verifying collateral value, and determining the overall ability for the member to repay.
    • Review and decision indirect loan applications with professional and corteous dealer interaction.
    • Provide timely cross-sale information, counter offers, credit line reviews/closures to internal team.
    • Ongoing education and training.
    Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
    • High school diploma or general education degree.
    • Two years related experience and/or relevant training.
    • Working knowledge of state and federal lending regulations.
    • Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
    • Reasoning ability to structure loan offers, understand regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Member service and communication skills.
    • Negotiation skills.
    • Analytics and creative reasoning.
