Underwriter (P/C) analyzes and reviews inspection reports, location, risk, credit reports, etc. to accept or reject renewal/new property and casualty policy applications. Decides on appropriate premium rates and issues coverage. Being an Underwriter (P/C) provides customer services regarding underwriting processes and decisions. May communicate with field agents to gather additional information or to explain underwriting decisions. Additionally, Underwriter (P/C) typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Underwriter (P/C) work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. This position is only for a full time medical receptionist. We are looking for someone that is very personable as you will be dealing with the public on a daily basis. Experience is preferred.
