JOB DESCRIPTION
Elder, Watkins, Friedman & Allen is seeking a full-time real estate paralegal or legal assistant who has a minimum of 3 years of experience with title searches and real estate closings. In this role, you would be responsible for the management of multiple real estate transactions at one time, including managing closing schedules for commercial and/or residential properties, preparing title commitments, drafting contracts or other legal documents, conducting research, communicating with real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and property owners, and preparing settlement statements.
In addition, you may be called upon to assist the team with other legal projects, as needed. This role would report to the senior real estate closing assistant and to the attorneys handling real estate transactions for the firm.
