Overview

we are looking for a Special Attendant PC to join our team.  This position will directly report to the Assistant Director PC, Branch Director PC or Branch Manager PC and will be responsible for providing personal care services on an as-needed basis.  Works directly with patients and families to create a positive environment. Personal care includes personal care, housekeeping and home maintenance, food preparation and service, activities, recordkeeping. This role works on an as needed basis.

• Focus on the patient to deliver the appropriate care and emotional support to the patient and their families.
• Perform the day-to-day activities of care giving in accordance with current regulations governing Home Health Care.
• Follow care guidelines outlines in the patient’s individualized care plan. This can include personal care assistance, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care, stroke recovery, ambulation/mobility assistance, transportation needs, meal preparation, and housekeeping.

About You

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• CRNA certification
• CPR certification desired
• Have at least six (6) months' paid work experience as an agency homemaker, nurse aide, maid or household worker
• At least one (1) year experience, paid or unpaid, in caring for children or for sick or aged individuals
• Successful completion of formal training in nursing arts or as a nurse aide or home health aide
