    Key Requirements:
    The PC Technician is knowledgeable of and performs a variety of daily support tasks such as Level 2 PC hardware and software trouble shooting. He/She will perform installations of PC hardware, software and printers. He/She works closely with the Desktop Administrator to repair, replace and deploy PCs and laptops across all departments and locations.


    • Level 2 PC hardware and software troubleshooting
    • Incident management and troubleshooting
    • Assist with managing client operating system lifecycle
    • Build and maintain hardware configurations for laptop, desktop, thin client, and other client systems.
    • Assist with managing client hardware lifecycle
    • Establish and monitor performance baselines for production systems
    • Work with field support to incorporate necessary changes to operating system images at regular intervals
      • Manage special projects as assigned by supervisor


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Must be 18 years of age or older.
    • IT-related degree or relevant work experience in a desktop support role dealing with Windows server systems
    • Strong technical background, with the ability to research best practices and work independently to find solutions to problems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build relationships with internal business teams and store team members
    • Ability to work with little direct supervision, self-motivated, goal oriented, ability to multi-task
    • Ability to travel up to 10% or more required
    • Must be able to lift and move PC and Server equipment weighing up to 60lbs.
    • Occasional travel is necessary for normal business and emergencies
    • Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude
    • Ability to function as a team member and get along with others
