Underwriting Supervisor oversees activities of the underwriting department. Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze, and inspect insurance risk. Being an Underwriting Supervisor analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs. Must be familiar with regulations at the federal, state and local level. Additionally, Underwriting Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Has no authority for staff actions. Generally has a minimum of 2 years experience as an individual contributor.     The Production Supervisor must perform all duties in compliance with Global Food Safety Initiatives (GFSI), USDA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), SSOP and safety regulations). 

    Monday through Friday, dayshift or nightshift potential and some weekends. 

    Some of the duties include:

    1. Will work as a working Supervisor alongside production personnel.
    2. Ensure safety, quality and efficiency goals are met
    3. Assist plant management to increase production output and efficiencies.
    4. Control loss to minimize / eliminate downtime and improve product yield.
    5. Maintain production standards while adhering to Fusion Ranch’s Quality Policy and Objectives.
    6. Ensure food security regarding the manufacturing, handling and storage of all food ingredients and finished goods.
    7. Coordinate training and labor management
    8. Responsible for managing all aspects of the assigned department.

    A qualified candidate must:

    1. Previous BRC/HACCP/SSOP experience preferred
    2. 5 years manufacturing/management experience
    3. Self-motivated with proven leadership skills
    4. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
    5. Pass drug test and E-verify (I9)
    6. Able to lift up to 50 lbs
    7. Prior experience in food environment a plus
