    JOB OVERVIEW:The Uniform Attendant is responsible for receiving, sorting, and distributing clean uniforms to personnel according to company specifications.

    Should be able to effectively communicate verbally and written with other employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1. Complete inventory of uniforms and linens as assigned. MUST be able to count and keep items in numerical/alphabetical order.
    2. Sorts and issues uniform.
    3. Receives and issues uniform.
    4. A record of assigned and unassigned uniforms as they are distributed, returned or cleaned.
    5. Returns unclean or dirty uniform to laundry for rewash.
    6. Informs supervisor about any damage to uniforms.
    7. Arranging and organizing all extra uniforms
    8. Fills in the correct paperwork.
    9. Make sure that there is a sufficient supply of uniforms in stock for the new starters.
    10. To carry out any small repair work to the uniforms.
    11. Counts and records the actual amount into daily uniform record form.
    12. Adheres to the rules and regulations of the hotel and its department.
    13. Issues and records shoes and stocks.
    14. Assumes other duties assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
    15. Cleans and maintains uniform room equipment.
    16. Ensures that all uniform is marked with a number.
    17. Prepares uniform room form.
    18. Reports to team leader regular about work.

    2. Previous hotel housekeeping experience.

    4. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English.
    5. Ability to count and keep items in numerical and alphabetical order.
    6. Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with guests and co-workers.
    7. Ability to follow instructions.
    8. Detail-oriented and thorough.
    9. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests.
    10. Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
    11. Thorough understanding of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
    12. Ability to interact with guests and co-workers in a pleasant, friendly way.
    13. Ability to provide professional, attentive and impeccable service in order to achieve great customer satisfaction.
    14. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.

    Desirable:

    1. Pro-active and reliable.

    2. Able to work alone and within a team.

    3. Able to do shift work and work under pressure at times.

    4. Basic Tailor skills.

    Physical Requirements:

    1. Prolonged periods of standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
    2. Able to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures on a continuous schedule.
