The Uniform Production Sort co-worker reports to the Production Manager.
This role is responsible for helping to sort garments for delivery. It is a fast paced, physical role that requires great attention to detail.
The following requirements provide both mental and physical requirements for a Uniform Production co-worker:
Ability to work well on own and prioritize work schedule
Ability to stand for ten hour shifts, bend, twist, stoop, push and pull or carry up to 50 lbs. on own
Ability to read id tags and memorize number sequences
Ability to help load garments onto a delivery truck on a weekly basis
Ability to meet and maintain quality standards as determined by department manager
Ability to interact with other co-workers, including service representatives who are delivering product
Demonstrates efficiency and attention to detail, works safely
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Environment may include exposure to noise, cramped quarters, unpleasant odors, dirt and heavily soiled mat & mops. While inside 98% of the time, temperatures may vary from a low of 60 degrees to a high of 90 degrees depending on weather conditions. Uniform Production Co-workers will go out on a route periodically in the company of a Service Rep, work closely with not only the Plant Managers & Route Service Reps. Ability to communicate, follow through, & follow up in both verbal & written form.
Uniform production coworkers enjoy a 4 day work week, working 4-ten hour days from 6a-430pm.
Pay increases at 6 months, 12 months and 24 months, as well as a generous signing bonus of $600, with partial pay out after 9 weeks and 6 months!
