Job Summary:

As a Production Manager, you will play a vital role in leading our production team to ensure seamless operations, exceptional quality, and efficient output. Essential Functions:

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead, mentor, and guide the team members, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Manage daily production output, maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting customer orders efficiently.
• Develop and implement effective scheduling strategies to ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity.
• Compliance and Safety:

Uphold and enforce compliance with company policies and legal regulations, promoting a culture of ethics and accountability.

• Lead and oversee team members safety programs, mitigating risks, preventing accidents, injuries, and damage.
• Development and Training:

Spearhead the development and training of team members to drive continuous improvement and growth within the organization.

• Identify skill gaps and implement training initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the production team.
• Effective Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure smooth communication and alignment of production priorities.

• Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:

Utilize strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the production process, fostering innovative solutions to maintain operational efficiency.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, scheduling, and quality control.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and production software.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and development.

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

• Supervision and Guidance:

Oversee the day-to-day activities of supervisors and production staff, ensuring tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently.

• Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to supervisors to achieve production targets and maintain quality standards.
• Performance Management:

Monitor and evaluate the performance of supervisors and associates, providing constructive feedback and recognition as needed.

• Identify opportunities for skill development and career advancement within the team.
• Resource Allocation:

Allocate resources appropriately to achieve production goals, balancing workload distribution and operational needs.

• Collaborate with the Production Manager to optimize resource utilization and capacity planning.
• Conflict Resolution:

Address conflicts and issues among supervisors and team members promptly and professionally.

Foster a positive and collaborative working environment by resolving disputes effectively.

 Physical Requirements:

This role is situated within a vibrant manufacturing plant environment. The position may necessitate extended periods of standing and walking, exposing individuals to varying conditions such as heat, cold, and exposure to chemicals. Physical demands could include lifting objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities often involve:

Sitting: Regularly engaging in seated activities while utilizing a computer system.

Manual Dexterity: Using hands and fingers for typing, document handling, and computer operation.

Reaching: Frequently extending hands and arms to access materials and equipment.

Movement: Occasionally requiring standing, walking, and mobility within the factory and office environment.
