Position Overview: As a Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of uniforms and linens to our clients across New York City. You will navigate the bustling streets of the city to ensure on-time delivery and provide exceptional service to our customers. • Be the face of Dempsey Uniform, building strong relationships with key decision makers, ensuring quality standards, and proactively resolving customer concerns.
• Load and unload uniforms and linens onto the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver products to designated locations on established routes.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients.
• Collect soiled items for return to the facility.
• Maintain accurate invoice inventories, conduct inventory audits, identify additional products and services that can further benefit the customer, and negotiate service agreement renewals.
• Work professionally, safely, and in compliance with driving and vehicle regulations.

• Weekly Pay. Earn $21.50 per hour with increases during the first year of employment

• Minimum age requirement: 22 years for vehicle insurance purposes
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean record
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into and out of customers' locations
• Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients
• Strong integrity, work ethic, and a friendly, professional, can-do attitude
• Ability to meet our appearance and dress code policy

• Exhibit a superior work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and commitment
• Take pride in their work and maintain a stable work history
• May have prior experience in fast-paced environments, such as route sales, route delivery, production, manufacturing, assembly, or retail
• Meet the physical requirements of the position
