Automotive Upholsterer/Reupholstery Expert

About this Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Automotive Upholsterer/Reupholstery Expert to join us immediately. WE HAVE BRAND-NEW EQUIPMENT IN A NEW, FULLY-EQUIPPED UPHOLSTERY SHOP! This isn't your average "automotive upholstery gig" — our shop is bustling with projects, and we need someone with at least 5 years of PROVEN experience, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. You can easily earn $80-100K annually depending on your skill set, experience, accuracy, and speed.

★ RELOCATION CLOSE TO OUR HEADQUARTERS WOULD BE REQUIRED ★

Responsibilities:

• Cutting, sewing, and upholstering/reupholstering using various materials
• Read/interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions or diagrams
• Complete upholstering/reupholstering projects to specs: Ensure the finished upholstery meets client specifications and quality standards
• Determine the appropriate material/method based on requirements
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of work area
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Utilize various tools, equipment, and materials as needed: Familiarity with a wide range of upholstery tools and materials for efficient completion of tasks

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of proven experience in automotive upholstery/reupholstery — Please provide examples of your work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in upholstering/reupholstering techniques and tools
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Friendly, personable demeanor with well-groomed appearance
• Willingness to perform other duties as needed
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks as required

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
This position involves occasional physical activity in a shop environment, including exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noise. Protective equipment is provided as necessary. Visual acuity is required for accurate work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
