We're currently seeking to expand our team with the addition of an Operations and End-User Support Administrator. This role will entail close collaboration with 3rd party Managed Service Providers (MSPs), focusing on tasks such as configuring some user software and hardware, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering technical support and training. Acting as a crucial liaison between end-users and higher-level support, the administrator will also engage in collaboration with other professionals to ensure IT standards and functionality compliance.
This position encompasses both technical and administrative duties in the management of organizational IT systems. The ideal candidate should possess fundamental knowledge, abilities, and skills in desktop computer management, installation, repair, and support. This includes basic knowledge in, printers, network connectivity, security, Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, desktop applications, and other transit technology.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in customer service, teamwork, and technical communication. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical staff, interaction with external vendors, collaboration with peers, and providing management with updates on projects and issues are essential aspects of this role.
Possessing a basic working knowledge in the administration, basic installation, repair, and support of network and communication technology is desirable.
