Trissential is currently seeking a Senior Consultant, User Experience Designer to join our remote client team. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.
Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Senior Consultant, User Experience Designer to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of an LLM (Clinical Trial Study Start-Up) product and potentially a third product focused on clinical trial matching. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences that prioritize accessibility, scalability, and sustainability, ultimately enhancing patient care and satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Analyze, plan, and sequence user interactions with software and applications, leveraging insights from the Human-Centered Design process to meet the needs of patients and physicians
- Utilize research findings to develop Use Cases, User Journeys, User Flow Diagrams, Navigation Structures, and Information Architecture, optimizing the user experience across the clients digital platforms
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape products that advocate for user needs, align with business requirements, and deliver best-in-class user experiences
- Design interfaces for various platforms, including browsers, responsive web, native apps, smartwatches, kiosks, and web-connected health monitoring devices, ensuring consistency and usability
- Develop Storyboards, Wireframes, Interface Modules and Pages, Prototypes, and Design Specifications to guide the product development process
- Evaluate designs according to project-specific and enterprise-standard metrics, ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.0 AA Accessibility Standards
- Collaborate with the Experience Design team to maintain, expand, and implement the clients Digital Design Language
- Facilitate Design Workshops to gather insights and synthesize diverse ideas into cohesive design proposals
- Provide oversight of vendors assisting with Experience Design scope of work, ensuring alignment with the clients standards and objectives
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED (Required)
- Understanding of ethics and professionalism in Design
- Ability to design on behalf of individuals with complex medical conditions
- Self-motivation and excellent organizational skills to lead critical projects
- Innovation in process or methods within the Experience Design field
- Familiarity with security and sensitivity around patient medical data
- Perspective on accessibility and incorporation throughout the product development process
Skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CS, Sketch, and other design tools
- Expertise in User Experience Design and Human-Centered Design (HCD) methodologies
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology, including Scrum
- Excellent visual communication skills
- Ability to clarify complex problems and present confidently
- Proficient in prototyping and wireframing
- Knowledge of product development processes
- Experience with presentation skills
- Ability to mentor and guide other Experience Designers
- Understanding of business requirements and operations
- Familiarity with information architecture and design metrics
- Capability to create proposals and articulate design concepts
- Knowledge of digital design principles
- Understanding of accessibility concerns for digital products
- Ability to work collaboratively in iterative design cycles
- Clear communication skills with project or executive teams
Experience
- 7 years of overall experience in User Experience Design
- 3 years of experience specifically designing for complex internal software
- Demonstrated experience with user validation techniques
- Delivery of 'ready for dev' user interfaces using Figma and design systems
- Collaborative and iterative approach to UI design in an agile environment
- End-to-end knowledge of all stages of User Experience Design
- Experience working with Accessibility concerns for digital products
- Demonstrated use of iterative design cycles to refine products
- Previous involvement in Scrum Agile methodology, defining User Stories
- Proficiency with design tools and platforms like Adobe CS, Sketch, Figma, etc.
- Native React experience preferred
Benefits
Trissential offers competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $62 to $70 based on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is benefits eligible, and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Employee Assistance Program; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
