We are looking for a Full-time Patient Liaison position at our Ohio Recovery Center in Van Wert !

Salary: $18.00 - 20.00 hour

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent adherence to relevant policies and procedures, and in cooperation with the Clinical, Medical/Nursing and Direct Care team to ensure observance of best clinical/treatment practices in the milieu according to agency standards and philosophy
• Facilitating and co-facilitating client nonclinical groups
• Providing appropriate mentoring and modeling withing the scope of the milieu
• Maintaining appropriate documentation according to agency and licensing requirements
• Documenting all patient-related activity in a timely and professional manner, and according to agency policy and relevant licensing and accreditation standards
• Performing all administrative tasks related to their job assignments and other designated administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner and performing other work-related duties as assigned/requested by manager
• Conduct therapeutic interventions and/or treatment strategies for challenging clients and specialized populations

Requirements:

• Demonstrates Proficiency in Communication, observation & Written skills.
• Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Patient Confidentiality laws
• Knowledge of Drug-free Workplace Policies.
• Knowledge of Addiction Issues, co-occurring disorders, and the 12-Step Recovery Program
• Patient care charts and patient histories
• Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Alcohol and addictive drugs and their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual impact on the individual and their family.
• Emergency procedures used in case of alcohol and/or drug overdose including First Aid and CPR
• Experience working with addiction in a residential and/or intensive outpatient milieu

Experience:

• 5 years of experience in drug and alcohol treatment.

Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications:

• Peer Support Specialist Certification.
