    Client Service Representative & Dental Liaison
    Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic is seeking to add a full-time experienced veterinary dental liaison/client service representative to our exceptional team! We are a 4-doctor, innovative clinic with a General Practice & Dental Service.  Our Dental Specialty is growing, and we are looking to add a liaison position to our dental team to help streamline our workflow and referral process. We pride ourselves in providing quality medical care, and individualized service with the goal of complete customer satisfaction.  It is also our goal for our employees to be happy in the workplace and supported in a maintaining a positive life/work balance.  This position will require a candidate that is team oriented, has a positive attitude, is a clear communicator and who enjoys people as well as their furry family members!
    The Dental Liaison will be hired as a Client Service Representative and act as the face of our service in many scenarios. As the first and last team member to interact with clients, the ideal match for this position would be able to exude a calm and pleasant demeanor, and have the ability to be kind but firm when necessary; ideally this staff member would enjoy aspects such as client communication, client education, conflict resolution/de-escalation, etc. In a perfect world they would already have experience as either a veterinary customer service representative in a busy clinic/referral center, or experience as a receptionist at a human dentistry clinic.
    As we continue to grow as a practice, this position’s responsibilities and utilization will undoubtedly grow as well. The end-vision for this position is similar to that of a hotel concierge – a “one-stop-shop” for any and all non-medical, client/patient/referral partner related issues.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
    • Warmly greets clients & patients
    • Check in & check out patients
    • Manage dental email inboxes
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Prepares patient files
    • Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
    • Answers client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
    • Educates clients on our dental specialty, scheduling, and procedure process
    • Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
    • Prepares client invoices for services performed
    • Handle payment transactions.
    • Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly
    • Put together handouts for client education
    • Facilitate in mailing out specimens to the lab
    • Any duties the dental doctors or Practice Manger request assistance in regarding organization of dental service
     
    Requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred
    • At least 1 full year of working in a dental related practice
    • Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
    • Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people

    Pay Rate (Depending on Experience): $19-$22
