    About the Role
     
    This is a role for a creative individual with a passion for user-centered experience design and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You’ll help build the BetMGM experience and elevate the team by producing work that is always raising the bar and taking a user first approach to solving problems. Your work will allow our customers to feel delighted, empowered and oriented every time they use our products.
     
    Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with product managers, user researchers, content strategists, engineers, and other designers on product direction and delivery in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
    • Clearly communicate and work with senior members of the team to ensure the user's perspective is represented at every level, including accessibility, usability, demographic, persona, and overall user experience
    • Understand the importance of User Research and Data Science to define what qualitative and quantitative data will be important in your work
    • Assist in creating detailed user flows, product maps, wireframes, etc. based on requirements from Product Management, and communicate UX clearly to relevant teams
    • Become familiar with regulatory, business, and technical requirements and learn how they impact our work
    • Align with design systems and best practices
    • Prototype user journeys and flows for user research
    • Share early and often, gather and provide constructive feedback, and quickly iterate on designs
    Essential Functions
    • Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
    Qualifications  
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
    • 0-3 years of experience as a user experience designer working on cross-functional teams releasing consumer or enterprise products
    • The ability to break down problems and work within constraints
    • An understanding of design systems, foundational digital patterns, and accessibility in design
    • A growth-mindset and love of learning. You’re open and receptive to feedback and can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
    • Deep curiosity around current products, trends, software, platforms, and hardware
    • Proficiency with design software, primarily Figma
    • A portfolio of work containing case studies showcasing thoughtful problem solving, attention to detail and well-crafted design

    Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
