Position Title: Utilization Review Manager

• Continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the UR process and decrease denials.
• Appeal all denials based on medical necessity criteria and maintains the Denial Spreadsheet.
• Monitor inpatient admissions and inpatient census management.
• Reviews all contracts for UR/UM specifics and shares requirements with all staff.
• Educate and train staff on new payor shifts and changes in criteria or management.
• Learn and maintain proficiency in Meridian's Electronic Health Record.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in Social Services field and 2 years UR/UM preferred OR

Masters Degree in Social Services field and 1 year UR/UM experience preferred.
