Utilization Review Manager - Home Care jobs in Monroe, LA

Our agency is looking for an experienced and reliable Utilization Review Director to work in our UR Department. LPN preferred and/or UR experience required. The ideal candidate would exhibit a strong work ethic and be highly motivated.

Responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining efficient methods of ensuring the medical necessity and appropriateness of each client.
• Ensures that all necessary documentation is received to place each client in the most appropriate Level of Care.
• Performs concurrent reviews for patients to ensure that extended stays are medically justified and are so documented in patient's medical records.
• Coordinates and supervises the activities of the Utilization Review Department.
• Ensures that each new client is placed in the proper Level of Care.
• Calculates the lengths of stay and continued-stay days for patients.
• Maintains communication with the Clinical and Medical Department in regards to client documentation.
• Works with Clinical Director and Director of Nursing to ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Attends weekly Clinical Staffing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
