Utilization Review Technician conducts utilization reviews to determine if patients are receiving care appropriate to illness or condition. Monitors patient charts and records to evaluate care concurrent with the patients treatment. Being a Utilization Review Technician reviews treatment plans and status of approvals from insurers. Collects and complies data as required and according to applicable policies and regulations. Additionally, Utilization Review Technician consults with nurses and physicians as needed. Position is non-RN. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. May require Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). The Utilization Review Technician gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Bank of Luxemburg is looking to hire a college student to join our Credit Department as a Loan Review Analyst Intern! This position will work out of our main branch in Luxemburg.
Position Summary:

Analyzes financial data to quantify and estimate the degree of risk associated with the extension of credit to firms and individuals. Supports the Credit Department and Commercial Loan Sales Officers through the commercial loan new and renewal process by gathering documents to assist in quantifying risk associated with the extension of credit to business or individuals on all loans.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Develops credit presentations for commercial loan renewals and new commercial loan requests. Complete credit presentations for ACH reviews and internal loan reviews by performing the following duties:

Actively working towards a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Management with two years of formal preparation completed. Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Possesses time management skills, and communication skills (both verbal and written). Is detail-oriented and has the ability to multi-task and work independently.
