Utilization Review Technician conducts utilization reviews to determine if patients are receiving care appropriate to illness or condition. Monitors patient charts and records to evaluate care concurrent with the patients treatment. Being a Utilization Review Technician reviews treatment plans and status of approvals from insurers. Collects and complies data as required and according to applicable policies and regulations. Additionally, Utilization Review Technician consults with nurses and physicians as needed. Position is non-RN. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. May require Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT). The Utilization Review Technician gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     We do various types of work, including running high-speed production lines and packing equipment, controlling the process from a computer terminal, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.     We believe in order to be able to perform on the job, you will need to meet the following physical requirements:

    • Use basic hand and power tools
    • Lift 50 pounds by bending and stooping; climb, stand, and move around on stairs, ladders, and platforms; twist, turn and bend
    • Enter confined spaces
    • Stand on concrete floors for an extended period of time

    Our Work Schedule: The Greensboro Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week on 12-hour shifts.    Most employees work a 2-2-3 work schedule.  Day shift is 7:00 am - 7:30 pm and night shift is 7:00 pm - 7:30 am.

    Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the shift schedule.


    Qualifications
    • 18 years of age or older
    • Have a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
    • Wear required safety personal protective equipment (eye protection, ear protection, safety shoes) 
    • Willing to work a day shift or night shift

    • Starting Pay / Salary Range: $21.32 per hour plus an additional $0.50 - $2.00 per hour based on work schedule.

At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
