Summary:
Serves as potential first contact point for visitors and patients of Summa Health System by providing an alternate service to customers parking their own vehicles. Greets customers and parks their vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Proven ability to read and write English, follow written and oral instructions and perform basic mathematical functions.
Must be 21 years of age or over at time of hire.
Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and meet Summa Fleet Insurance Standards.
Ability to effectively operate a stick shift transmission preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- Ability to make change
- Ability to quickly walk for extended periods of time; bending to get into and out of cars on a continual basis; able to assist customer into wheelchairs and push them into the building; able to lift light to medium weight overnight bags/packages into the lobby area
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and relevant personnel
- Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity
Level of Physical Demands:
Medium: Exerts 20-50 pounds of force occasionally and/or ten to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force continuously to move objects.
The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members when determining offers. Please keep in mind that the range that is listed is the full base salary range. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical.
