Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/Analysis/Validation Officer for its Jacksonville, Florida location.

Duties: Conduct data-driven analysis and create Key Performance Indicator Driven Tuning (KPI DT) reports as per current methodologies through statistical and non-statistical data exploration. Validate data, identify data quality issues, and work with Technology to address them. Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods using SQL, SAS, R and Python to extract, transform and analyze data. Identify relationships and trends in data, question and validate assumptions, and escalate identified methodology and process risks. Perform mathematical modeling and statistical analysis to identify, analyze, and solve problems associated with risks. Perform statistical sampling and hypothesis testing. Document solutions and present results to management, end users, and non-technical and technical audiences. Build and refine the features to ensure expectations of capturing risk are met. Use Statistical and Machine Learning techniques for predictive modeling. Use DataIku and develop models using different modeling techniques. Evaluate existing scripts to identify potential opportunities for optimization. Identify and review the current SQL and SAS-SQL scripts to assess performance. Develop new codes to enhance performance. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Engineering (any) or related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analytics Lead Analyst, or related position involving quantitative analysis and modeling for the global financial services industry. 3 years of experience must include:  SQL, SAS-SQL, Statistics; Machine Learning, Predictive Modeling; and SQL, Python, R, Big Data.
