• Asset Management Engineer for Spare Parts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in direct pharmaceutical, medical device or biotechnology industries.
• Experience in Asset Management
  • Inventory Analysis and Control - Maintain accurate and up to date records of spare parts and ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Demand Forecasting - Based on inventory usage, minimize possible stockouts or overstocking.
  • Financial Analysis - Of Inventory parts and levels
  • Verify re-order points and work with Spare Parts Procurement party to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Lifecycle Management - Identify items nearing obsolescence or requiring replacement.
  • Maintenance Planning- Collaborate with maintenance and operations departments, to developed maintenance strategies that incorporate the efficient use of spare parts. This ensures timely availability of parts during scheduled maintenance activities or unexpected breakdowns.
  • Cost Optimization: Striving for cost-effectiveness to reduce inventory holding costs.
  • Data Analysis - to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement in spare parts management.
• Must be fully bilingual (English / Spanish) with excellent oral skills.
• Must be proficient using MS Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong knowledge in cGxP and regulatory guidance as well as understanding of how they are applied to regulatory compliance.
• Technical Writing skills and investigations processes.
• Available to work extended hours, possibility of weekends and holidays.
