Moving Labor/ packer/ Driver

Movers for our Company are the face and backbone of what we do and who we are. You will have frequent contact with both civilian, military, and corporate customers and are expected to be courteous, well groomed, and helpful. Drivers will primarily load and transport household/corporate goods from one location to another.

Job description

As a professional mover, you will be packing, loading, and moving customers' household belongings. Moves range from just a single item to an entire home. Items to be moved can often weigh several hundred pounds. Moves involving stairways are very common. The workday can be long (a ten-hour day or longer is not unusual). These demands require a person with above average strength, stamina, fitness and skill.

• Movers-Laborers
• Drivers — Non CDL - Class D
• Packers

Essential Functions and Duties:

· Providing quality, customer service at all times.

· You and your team will work together to provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customer belongings

· Carrying heavy items long distances and up/down stairways.

· Wrapping furniture and equipment.

· Pack items such as breakables, books, artwork, knick-knacks.

· Transport goods using a company truck

· Perform accurate inventory of shipment

· Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Because moving is stressful, we seek “super movers” with a commitment to customer service.

· Physical fitness and above average stamina for physical labor and can lift 75lbs o a regular basis.

· Ability to be on time and reliable; ability to meet deadlines

Driver requirements:

· Valid driver's license and good driving record (will be verified)

· 3 years driving experience

Mover AND Driver requirements:

· Pass a pre-employment background check and regular drug screens

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
