Van Driver operates company vans or small buses. Loads and unloads passengers between various destinations. Being a Van Driver provides and collects appropriate documentation for passenger transportation. Ensures pick-up and drop-off are on time. Additionally, Van Driver may keep logs of vehicle maintenance. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a Valid Driver's License. May Require Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Van Driver works under moderate supervision. W2 - $.60cpm (all empty and loaded miles paid) - Average 2,500 Miles Weekly
- Extra Stop $50 per stop - Detention 15/hr (kicks in after first 2 hrs) - Layover $125 per day (when truck is broken)
Per diem is paid meaning a portion of a driver’s check is not subject to tax due to a law that allow OTR drivers to benefit from a “stipend” each day they are away from home. So W2 will see a little more each week in your pocket.
-We pay 50% of medical, dental and vision/1 week vacation is paid after 1 year with the company.
1099 - $.65cpm - must be able to provide IRS letter with his EIN
