Van Driver operates company vans or small buses. Loads and unloads passengers between various destinations. Being a Van Driver provides and collects appropriate documentation for passenger transportation. Ensures pick-up and drop-off are on time. Additionally, Van Driver may keep logs of vehicle maintenance. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires a Valid Driver's License. May Require Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class B. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Van Driver works under moderate supervision. American Leadership Academy is currently accepting applications for Van Driver. Candidates must possess a valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card and CPR/First Aid Certification.
Van Driver/Transportation Aide are assigned to special education bus routes to assist the school bus driver and students while they are being transported to and from school; to ensure their safe transportation and to provide assistance when entering and exiting the school bus; and to provide assistance with student health care. There may be times when asked to drive a van as well.
Candidates must possess a current Driver's License and be willing to have driving record reviewed.
